Welcome to Computoid! My name is Gavin Arthur Hayes, though I sometimes go by G4Vi or GAHAYES. I am a professional software engineer, hobbyist computer programmer, and occasionally I dabble in reverse engineering.

In past the Computoid site was just a place for me to experiment with being a sysadmin and various web development. This time around the focus is on being a hub for my open source projects and a place to write.

A select set of my projects are listed on the homepage. Some third-party projects I have contributed to include:

• Cosmopolitan Libc - makes C a build-once-run anywhere language via polygot binary format
• mkpsxiso - Unpack and repack Sony PlayStation ISO 9660 disc images for homebrew development
• dr_flac - Single file FLAC audio decoder
• tonyhax - Softmod exploit and backup loader for the Sony PlayStation
• gifenc - Small c GIF encoder

Off of the computer, I like to snowboard.
